XFS is a for-profit organization that provides stable, comfortable housing, with support from a supportive, compassionate community to the Exonerated and People with Disabilities.

The Leaders of XFS are Raymond Towler and Kelly McLaughlin.  Kelly joined the organization to expand XFS’s outreach and assistance to People with Disabilities. We help fight against these unfortunate situations:

  • Exonerees: With the backing of great institutions such as The Ohio Innocence Project, Exonerees are being legally exonerated and allowed to return to society. Many of those men and women have been stripped of everything by the ordeal that wrongly incarcerated them. Sometimes these prisoners lose all family members and outlive other relationships. With no Social Security benefits, no family or friends, no pension or savings, the Exonerated are left to fend for themselves—physically free
but lacking true freedom and often return home is full of scars that are both visible and invisible. We want to make sure that these men and women have homes, places to heal, and places from which they can grow.

  • People with Disabilities: Our second venture is to provide safe housing for people with disabilities. We are now affiliated with Premiere Home Health Care and the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities and have established relationships with individuals with disabilities who need safe housing.

  • We are seeking funding through donations, grants, and foundation finders.  We also need in-kind contributions.  Financial contributions are not tax-deductible, and 100% of all funds will be used for the betterment of XFS.

  • Since the very first Exoneree lived under the roof of XFS, we have strived to provide a home-like environment with support to the lifestyle needs that the Exonoree may have. Monetary needs, transportation issues, and all else that a normal American would have. We try to provide.

With your help, WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE.
